Partner Protections Toolkit

ACTG’s Partner Protections toolkit was developed by ACTG Partner Protections Working Group (PPWG), a working group of the HIV Reservoirs and Viral Eradication (Cure) Transformative Science Group (TSG), in collaboration with ACTG’s Behavioral Sciences Subcommittee (BSS). ACTG created the PPWG to help identify and/or create resources that could help research sites reduce the risk of unintended HIV transmission in HIV cure-related clinical trials involving analytical treatment interruptions (ATIs), controlled and closely monitored pauses of ART to evaluate the effects of an experimental treatment (intervention) that may help cure HIV.
