Specimen Repository Website

The ACTG maintains a specimen repository of samples from clinical trials. A wide range of well characterized specimens are stored including blood based (plasma, PBMC, serum, whole blood) and non-blood based (breast milk, genital secretions, CSF, hair, saliva, sputum, urine) samples.

If you are an ACTG investigator and would like an inventory report of all available specimens for a specific study please go to . https://www.fstrf.org/apps/cfmx/apps/common/Portal/index.cfm?event=setupBrandedLogin&projectForBranding=ACTG and log in with your FSTRF account credentials. Then click the link “Repository Sample Requests” under the Laboratory Data Programs header.

For general information about specimens available for public use please click the following link: http://www.specimenrepository.org/. No account is needed to search this subset of repository specimens from concluded studies.
