This report includes 2 parts. For the first time, Part A examines census tract-level social determinants of health (SDH) among adults with diagnosed HIV infection in 2017 for all 50 states, the District of Columbia, and Puerto Rico. Part B examines county-level SDH among adults with diagnosed HIV infection through 2017 in 41 states and District of Columbia. Part A also includes census tract-level linkage to HIV medical care, and Part B includes linkage to HIV medical care, retention in HIV medical care, and HIV viral suppression. Both parts present data on numbers, rates, and percentages of diagnoses of HIV infection through 2017 among persons aged 18 years and older by four SDH indicators and selected characteristics that include sex, age, race/ethnicity, and transmission category.
